Social cohabitation and people experiencing homelessness

Mobile intervention team

Accompany people experiencing homelessness to the resources they need, in order to meet their basic needs: orientation and support for food security services; orientation and support to emergency shelters (Haltes Chaleur); monitoring of community members who do not have access to community services, etc.

THe Halte (Now open 12 months a year)

A space where individuals can spend the night, access food, and showers as well as certain essential services, intended to be a high-threshold service. These services relax rules, involve fewer admission procedures, and allow people to access services while intoxicated.

The Halte is open from 8 pm until 7 am, 7 days a week. They can be reached at (514) 664-2152 or halte-chaleur@preventioncdnndg.org
