Social cohabitation and people experiencing homelessness

Mobile intervention team

Accompany people experiencing homelessness to the resources they need, in order to meet their basic needs: orientation and support for food security services; orientation and support to emergency shelters (Haltes Chaleur); monitoring of community members who do not have access to community services, etc.

THe Halte (Now open 12 months a year)

A space where individuals can spend the night, access food, showers, and certain essential services, designed as a high-threshold service. These services relax the rules, involve fewer admission procedures, and allow people to access services while intoxicated.

For the 2025-2026 winter season, the CDN-NDG Prevention Shelter is open 24/7.

It is located at 5845 Décarie Boulevard (corner of Bourret).
